Commission a Suit

Contact Info

Wild Dog Horizons is a small fursuit making enterprise run by Kiniro Oniba - that's me! So here's a little bit about myself. I'm currently twenty years old and a student knee-deep smack dab in the middle of a five-year program to become a teacher. I live and go to school in Ontario, Canada. Because I'm constantly on course overload, I work rather slowly on commissions during the school year, and I do try to warn my customers of that. During the summer, however, I work on costumes full time, and with recent investments in new equipment like my new airbrush and sewing machine, my costume-making skills can only improve.

I first got seriously into costume making in grade nine when my new best friend, who I adored, got me into anime. I made myself a Miroku (a la Inu-Yasha) cosplay and went off to my very first convention, Anime North, and have been going there every year since then. After four years of wearing the same old costume, I decided I was going to make myself something more exciting - a fursuit partial. I started with a pokemon, Mightyena, which can be seen in its gloriously and hilariously terrible condition in my gallery. Nonetheless, it was a start, and from the moment my wad of plastic mesh started to actually look like something, I was hooked. My next project was a Leomon cosplay, and it was between the two projects that I was approached for the first time for a commission. Thrilled by the notion that I could get paid enough to cover the costs of this fun but expensive hobby, I took the job. The rest, as they say, is history.

I'm always willing to chat, be it with a new person about quotes or questions, a customer who wants updates on how things are coming, or someone who's got their commission and has feedback, suggestions, or even just wants to talk to little old me. So if you like the sound of this Kiniro person, head on over to the contact page to get in touch with me.
